“Fact & Fiction” about the worries of having Radon in your new Granite Countertop
Over the past few years, while working in Cranberry Township, Pennsylvania, I have been approached by some customers that have fears about buying granite because they have heard it may have radon in it. In fact, the Marble Institute of America did a study on just this! To sum up their study basically you have nothing to worry about because the most common granite tops bought & sold in America have very little if at all Radon in them. If you were going to pick some exotic stone you may want to have it tested, but more than likely you have nothing to worry about.
